Pursuing a scientific career as a postdoc means, as early as possible, in the phase of achieving scientific independence, particularly considering international mobility as a scientist. In many major funding lines from well-known funding providers, "substantial international research experience" is a prerequisite for applicants.
TUC intern, financial Support for international mobility is possible through the Internationalisation Pool. Mobility advice is currently being set up at the TU specifically for postdocs in the early career phase. The DAAD offers funding advice or regular information emails from the PostDoc Office on the PRIME (Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience) program. Continuous options for applying for PostDocs. Furthermore, there are multiple options of funding international mobility listed in the DAAD scholarship database.
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation offers the Feodor Lynen Research Scholarship as a continuous funding opportunity for international mobility for PostDocs. An information event on the Feodor Lynen Research Scholarship (PostDoc funding for stays abroad of 6-24 months , possible from the promotion onwards) offered for April 8th, 2025.
